TSA Travel Tips: TSA Pre✓® for U.S. Armed Forces

While flying on participating airlines and
at over 160 airports… whether on orders or for personal travel, in uniform or in civilian
clothes all members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including those serving in the Reserves and
National Guard can benefit from TSA Pre✓® expedited screening which allows you to keep
on your shoes, jacket, belt and leave your laptop and liquids in your carry-on bag. Cadets and midshipmen of the U.S. Military
Academy, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy and Air Force Academy are also eligible to
receive TSA Pre✓® screening benefits. TSA Pre✓® is free for members of the military. To receive the benefit of TSA Pre✓® include
the 10-digit Department of Defense identification number, located on the back of your CAC card,
in your Frequent Flyer accounts or flight reservations in the Known Traveler Number
field and update your defense travel system profile for official travel. To ensure future airline reservations automatically
include your DoD ID number, save it in your DTS profile. Accompanying family members under the age
of 12 are also eligible to be processed through expedited screening as well. To learn more about TSA Pre✓® visit. TSA.Gov.
