As overnight temperatures start to dip . the Salvation Army is hoping you keep those in need in mind. TAKE VO LA CROSSE They kicked off their annual ‘Coats For Kids’ campaign yesterday. Despite the name . the Salvation Army isn’t limiting donations to just kids . or just coats. They say people of all ages and sizes in our area could use some help when it comes to getting all kinds of winter apparel. While bitterly cold temperatuers might still be a month or two away . the Salvation Army wants to get those items out to the people who need them before then. It’s a very important time of year, because obviously up here in Wisconsin we can experience some pretty harsh temperatures. So if some people are outside for whatever reason, we want to make sure they’re safe, first and foremost.
