Remembering 9/11 at Delaware Military Academy

how important it is that places like DMA remember to take the time every single year so that their students will know what this was all about and last week a professional photographer
his name is Gordon Donovan revisited the locations of many of the memorable images that were taken on september 11 2011 and he went so he could take new images attempting to closely match them with their 12-year old counterparts there are a lot of similarities between those
images that were taken in 2001 and those that were taken last week you see the same clear thing also remind us that we never give up
that we fight relentlessly for what we know is right so today as we pause for this ceremony as I’ll be shortly down at the dover air
force base at a similar event we recommit to never forget we honor the brave men and women who perished that day and we also honor the brave men and women who in the years since have served bravely and fought tirelessly of a nation that’s built on
the ideals of freedom and justice and equality and opportunity
it’s a nation where our first responders and so many of them volunteers
continue to sacrifice for the safety of their communities of our communities and where men and women continue to make the selfless commitment to
defend our country at home and abroad general vavel was
just telling me he was in mississippi just yesterday to say goodbye to forty members of our 150th engineering company they’re about to go to afghanistan and next week we hope to see coming back up about 140 members
or so of the 153rd military police company coming back from afghanistan the work continues
