Purple hearts returned to veterans

GOOD EAST AND WEST OF COLLEGE PARK ROAD. Octavia: A GROUP RETURNED A WORLD WAR II VETERAN’S PURPLE HEART TO A FAMILY HERE IN SOUTH CAROLINA. A STRANGER BOUGHT THE SERGEANT’S MEDAL AT A FLEE MARKET IN FLORIDA. HE DIED AT THE BATTLE OF THE BULGE IN WORLD WAR II. THE PERSON WHO BOUGHT IT RETURNED IT TO PURPLE HEARTS REYOU — REUNITED IN HOPES THEY COULD FIND ITS OWNER. THEY USED ANCESTRY TO FIND THE VETERAN’S NIECE AND BRING IT TO HER. YOU ARE BRINGING A TANGIBLE PIECE BACK, BUT IT COMES ALONG WITH SO MANY INTANGIBLE ITEMS
