JROTC PROMO#4

JROTC PROMO#4

The mission of JRTC is to make young
people better citizens. It is not a military class, it is a
leadership class. I actually joined on accident, I was trying to find a
leadership class and this was a leadership class. I didn’t know I
actually did not know it was an ROTC class. JRTC helps develop
leadership skills, loyalty, respect and courage to do it was right. I decided to enroll into JRTC see because they offer scholarship options for college. About
85% of all scholarship applications want to see that you’ve done some kind of
leadership RTC automatically gives you that. Field trips- Feed My Starving
Children, Father McGivney’s Food Bank. If you
do happen to join the military, if you do two years of Junior RTC, once you finish
basic training, boot camp, whatever service you go into you get promoted
automatically one rank. BAM! Right off the bat. Extra money, extra rank, ahead of your peers. Most people don’t do that. Yes, I plan on going into the Navy
but first I want to go to college and become an officer and then I want to be
either a pilot or a military police officer. I do not plan to join any
military forces after high school, though this class will help me with leading,
like I want to become a teacher. It’ll help me keep my students under control. You will need an edge in whatever you do in your future. Whether it is college,
whether it is trade school, whether it is the military, whether it is the work
force you need an edge. This is something different. We do a lot of different
hands-on type of things. This is the edge that you’re looking for.
Although you should join ROTC because it is a lot of fun, you go on like the most
field trips ever and you learn all your leadership skills here. You learn to be
like a better you and you pass on that knowledge to others.
