CALIFORNIA FOR A SWAP MEET. ATTRACTING INTEREST FROM AROUND THE STATE AND COUNTRY AND THE WORLD. ANGEL CARDENAS JOINS US LIVE FROM CAMP PLYMOUTH WITH MORE. ANGEL. Reporter: GOOD MORNING, MY FRIENDS. YEP, INTEREST FROM AROUND THE WORLD, PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER THE PLACE COME INTO THIS SWAP MEET/CAR SHOW. IT IS A TOTAL MILITARY PRESERVATION. YOU GUYS, THEY ARE GIVING ME A HARD TIME. RUN INTO QUITE A FEW PEOPLE GIVING ME A HARD TIME ABOUT WEARING MY TIE OUT HERE. I PUT THE HARDHAT ON. WHAT DO YOU THINK, CODY. WHAT DO YOU THINK? I THINK YOU WILL PASS. Reporter: MR. PORTER, TIED, THUMBS UP OR THUMBS DOWN. TIE. DRESS IT UP A LITTLE BIT. Reporter: WE WILL GET THE OFFICIAL WORD FROM THE FORMER PRESIDENT RIGHT HERE. THIS IS KURT LESTER. THANK YOU FOR HAVING US OUT. THANKS. GLAD TO BE HERE. THIS PLACE IS COOL. IT IS, DEFINITELY. SO MILITARY PRESERVATION, WHAT YOU GUYS CALL, OR VERY COOL MILITARY CAR SHOW. IT IS A CAR SHOW. WE ARE BASICALLY A CAR CLUB WITH A PENCHANT FOR MILITARY VEHICLES. WE LIKE IT GREEN AND WE DON’T LIKE CAR WAX. WOW, YEAH, NO CAR WAX, YEAH, LET IT BE DIRTY. JUST LEAVE IT DIRTY. TELL US ABOUT THIS 5D6807 TRUCK. THE 5D607 IS THE MILITARY REGISTRATION NUMBER BUT THIS IS BASICALLY A RECOVERY VEHICLE. IT’S YOUR STANDARD WRECKER. IT’S ON STEROIDS. IT’S A BIG GUY. IF YOU LOOK AT EVERYTHING ON IT, IT’S MASSIVE. SO COOL. SO YOU GUYS GET PEOPLE FROM EVERYWHERE WHO COME OUT AND YOU TRADE THINGS, THEY SELL SOME THINGS. BUY, TRADE ANYTHING. AND WE WELCOME ANYTHING THAT’S MILITARY HISTORY RELATED. IT’S A GREAT HOBBY, WE HAVE DONE IT FOR 35 YEARS NOW. YEAH. COME ON DOWN OVER HERE. LET’S TALK ABOUT OTHER THINGS HERE. AND THEY HAVE WHAT THEY TRY TO DO IS REENACT WORLD — WELL, NOT REENACT WORLD WAR II, THE SETUP, THE TENTS, CAMOUFLAGE AND THAT’S SOMETHING EVERYONE GETS INTO. IF YOU LOOK OVER HERE, THESE ARE WORLD WAR II TENTS, WE HAVE GOT A PIT SET UP OVER HERE, A REPLICA. EACH PERIOD IS REPRESENTED. WE ACTUALLY HAVE ONE OF OUR MEMBERS HAS A MACK TRUCK FROM WORLD WAR I, THAT OCCASIONALLY SHOWS UP WHEN IT RUNS, BUT WE HAVE QUITE A FEW WORLD WAR II REENACTORS, QUITE A FEW VIETNAMESE REENACTORS. THE ONLY THING WE DON’T DO IS DON’T ALLOW ANY ACTIVE DISPLAY OFAXIS POWERS, FLAGS AND THINGS. WE WANT TO STAY AS MUCH AMERICAN AS POSSIBLE. Reporter: WHEN WE COME BACK OUT WE WILL SHOW YOU THE HUGE TANK FROM THE ’70s THAT IS ONE OF THE RARE ITEMS OUT HERE. BUT FOR NOW I’M GOING TO DO A WARDROBE CHANGE IN MY TENT AND FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO WEAR THAT MIGHT BE — I’M SORRY ABOUT THAT. SORRY ABOUT THAT. SOMEONE ELSE IS CHANGING IN THERE. I’LL JUST CHANGE OUT HERE. BACK TO YOU. I’M SORRY.
