Fort Report 304th MI Field Training

this is mi bollock which is short for military intelligence basic officer leader course so this is a course about 16 weeks long that newly commissioned lieutenants come through part of the exercise here that they're doing is intelligence preparation of the battlefield when they're in their talks each soldier has a different role that they're filling some of them are briefing different aspects of the product basically they're their briefing a notional commander on what they think the enemy is going to do in a scenario so we've picked a region of the world and basically put a notional Army in that area and now these soldiers have to develop where where do they think the enemy is going to strike next and they have to develop what are called courses of action for that and this is their jobs that they will be doing when they go to their units that shouldn't affect its operation because it's 12:50 that's it should still be able to collect with the scout teams in Charlie Company we have approximately 40 cadre and anywhere from 180 to 240 students at a time we generally run five to six classes simultaneously cadre here is the support is outstanding and you guys really keep pace and keep the pressure on on the students regardless of the fact that there's so many moving parts and pieces yes we found a spork which which has the dog Iran which is Taipei air defense radar this is class of 1900 five they have about thirty some-odd students a third of them are active duty on a third our reserve and a third we've also have two international officer students as well so that's really our job here is help equip and prepare them to be value-added s2s on day one as soon as they arrive to their unit it's been a really good training experience and I'm really gonna miss a lot of the people that we met here I'm sure we'll see each other at some point in our careers excited to graduate the instruction here has been outstanding we've had real good experience learning about large-scale comma tapper operations and working with stability and mixing those things together and working all of our products on analog which is a refreshing change of pace for things it's been a good course it really has we've we've learned let this whole rigger thing that they've thrown in with the new school we're spending a lot of time out here you know hands-on with the analog systems rather than the computers so it's it's been a good class
