Fiesta Medals 101- Promoting Your Message

Hello! And welcome to “Fiesta Medal Design
101”. This is section 2 of a 4 part series on designing your Fiesta medal – “The Four
‘M’s of Fiesta Medal Design.” Today we are going to be talking about the “M” which represents
“Message” – getting your message out into the Antonio community. Remember, Fiesta medals
are promotional products – they are a way to promote your message, your organization,
the association you back – out into the community. Because when you make a Fiesta medal – a small
billboard promoting your message is being worn all around town during Fiesta. So let’s
look at 3 Fiesta medals that have promoted their message out into the community. The
first one is QVC. Every year, QVC employees here in San Antonio pick a charity to support.
Last year they picked Big Brothers/Big Sisters. This year, in 2015, they have selected the
Food Bank. So we created a Food Bank Fiesta medal with a small dangler with the QVC logo.
The emphasis is on supporting the Food Bank – not QVC. This is a wonderful example of
getting a message out – support your local food bank. The second medal is one that supports
the troops – the military here in San Antonio. Dog tag design with a kinetic piece, a little
ball chain that hangs from the side. “Thank you for your service”. If you notice there
is a small logo on here – it happens to be ours. This was our medal last year. Instead
of promoting our business, we promoted support of San Antonio based here at JBSA-Lackland.
JBSA – Randolph and JBSA – Ft Sam. And finally, we are going to look at a new medal we did
for 2016 – this is for the Law Offices of Dennis Moreno. Interesting thing about this
medal is that Mr. Moreno’s wife designed the medal and she picked the things that are the
most dear to him to promote on the medal. And one of those is the prominently displayed
blood drop. Mr. Moreno is an active blood donor and that is a cause that is near and
dear to his heart. And so when designing his Fiesta medal we made the blood drop emblem,
which represents blood donation, as the centerpiece of the entire medal. This way – every single
person that receives one of his medals knows – promote blood donation. So that’s it. Remember,
Fiesta medals – the design is very important. Promote your message within the San Antonio
community through a Fiesta medal today. For more information, visit our website at www.celebrateexcellence.com.
Have a great Fiesta!
