I chose the van loan school here at Endicott
starting off on reputation. I had had a few friends from military background that had
received degrees here at Endicott and they told me what a great program that they had
here. What makes Endicott a good school for me is
that it provides all the business classes that I need and also it’s very veteran friendly,
and I enjoy coming here a lot. Coming here to Endicott and working with Dave
Giarusso and Susan Abate has been amazing. They – I’ve sat on conference calls, I’ve
had text and emails and they’ve answered every single question. I remember when I first started,
specifically, I was on a conference call – Susan Abate called me- with Dave Giarusso and and
they got someone from the VA online. We had a conference c all just to answer all my questions
and make sure that I was comfortable with the process. And that’s something that – in
my experiences in other colleges and the people I’ve talked to- they are number one. I’ve
never seen anything like it. Endicott has provided me with such a great
opportunity that I took it upon myself to start the Endicott College Veteran’s Club
as a way to give back to the veterans here on campus and at our night schools as well.
The Endicott College Veteran’s Club will provide academic support and information regarding
veteran affairs programs, and events for veterans and their dependents on campus.
College is a very daunting thing for veterans. Endicott has for myself and the other people
I have served with who’ve come to Endicott say that Endicott is a school that helps them in and makes this
process not so hard, not so daunting. It really lets veterans get a degree and move on with
their lives and, I love it. I think it’s huge and it’s phenomenal.
