15 UPCOMING VEHICLES Somewhere Between Insanity and Genius

– [Seb] The difference between insanity and genius is measured only by success, and by the looks of some
of these crazy vehicles currently in development, 2019 is set to strap on
a straight jacket or two. Or perhaps these impressive
feats of manufacturing will take the world by storm. Only time will tell. I’m Seb, and here are 15 insane vehicles that will succeed or fail in 2019. (gentle upbeat music) – [Woman] Number 15 – [Seb] First up in our list is a truck which cranks aggression up to 11. The VelociRaptor is Hennessey
Motors answer to the question that nobody asked, what
if we took a Raptor F50, added more wheels, more
power and twin turbo charges? The base model is a four door truck with 6X6 locking rear axles. A bed mounted roll bar, intercooler, upgraded fork suspension, 20 inch wheels, and 37 inch off-road tires. Of course, a powerful monster
needs a powerful engine to carry it, so Hennessey
Motors have ramped output up to 600 horsepower. The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6X6 is available from $350,000, and has a ton of optional upgrades. – [Woman] Number 14. – [Seb] Swedish manufacturer Tinger ATV, hasn’t so much as designed
a new type of ATV, as they have merged it
with a modern day tank. The Tinger track ATV
is built for adversity, with up to 68 horsepower,
extra low-ground pressure, long travel suspension, and
highly durable 500 mm tracks, you will not only scale
tundra, snow, sand and water, but you’ll barely even notice
that you’ve gone off-road. The Tinger track ATV is
available for around $20,000. – [Woman] Number 13. – [Seb] The next crazy vehicle on our list is another Swedish
all-terrain masterpiece. Bay systems unarmored version
of the BvS10 Viking carrier can hold up to eight tons of cargo, seat up to 10 people, and cover a massive
range of up to 620 miles. But it won’t always need that range as this disaster relief vehicle is designed to be air dropped and can carry out it’s
operational functions in temperatures ranging from
a freezing -46 degrees C, to an utterly scorching +49 degrees. Boy I hope they’ve got air con in there. – [Woman] Number 12. – [Seb] The Chelsea truck company have proven that it is possible to take quint essential British comfort and pack it into a
monstrous six wheel truck. Behind the retro alloy wheels, and matte black, red stripe finish, are folding steps, a leather panel, and carpet throughout the interior. Inside this Incredible Hulk, is an elegant Bruce Banner, and it can be yours for $350,000. – [Woman] Number 11. – [Seb] The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is a Wrangler through and through. The Gladiator stretches
the Wrangler’s frame adding more than 19 inches to the width and another foot behind the rear wheels. While this limits
maneuverability a little, it’s bigger and stronger for
carrying heavy pay loads. The Gladiator has no roof or doors, but can be protected with a bed liner, a tonneau covers, and a cargo divider. The Jeep Gladiator is
expected to be available to purchase in the spring, from $34,000. – [Woman] Number 10. – [Seb] Don’t worry,
that’s not the FBI parked outside your home, it’s India’s first expandable,
luxurious motor home. The Finetza starts out at $76,700 before customization options, and will feature elegant
interior features, including adjustable ambient lighting, a pantry, an entertainment
system, and a washroom. You will have seating capacity
of up to six passengers, and comfortably sleeps four. It’s Pinnacle specialty vehicles vision to revolutionize the
concept of luxury travel on Indian roads, however, we’d say that they’ve
manages revolutionize luxury travel across the world. – [Woman] Number nine. – [Seb] The new limited edition Ferrari Monza special series cars are what you’d expect to get if you drove the classic sports cars of the 1950s, 120 mph into modern technology. They’re making the iconic
Ferrari racing Barchetta’s. The SP1 is a single seat road car that offers every driver
that classic racer rush. Fancy bringing a friend
along for the ride? The SP2 is a two seater
for double the thrill. While similar in aesthetics, the Monza SP1 and SP2 have
the best weight to power ratio of any previous Barchetta. Thanks to the carbon fiber construction, and the most powerful engine
Maranello has ever built. An 810 cv V12. This sees them charging
like stampeding horses from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. Pricing starts at around $2,000,000. – [Woman] Number eight. – [Seb] Gone are the
days when a self-driving, electrically powered vehicle was the stuff of a cheesy 80s sci-fi film. The future is here and
it’s arrived in the form of a Mercedes-Benz URBANETIC. This revolutionary mobility concept reduces traffic flows, relieves
inner-city infrastructures, and contributes to improved
quality of urban life. It’s a ride sharing vehicle with space for up to 12 passengers, and also acts as a cargo mover with total load space
length of 3.7 meters. Best of all, it’s
environmentally friendly, producing zero emissions. – [Woman] Number seven. – [Seb] This $3.8 million sports vehicle thinks it’s the Batmobile, and wouldn’t look out of place in a Fast and Furious movie. However, this matte
black, six ton monster, perfectly balances survival with luxury. It boasts a V10 engine
with over 360 horsepower, a six-speed automatic transition, and can even operate in
extreme temperatures. While the exterior battles the elements, the interior feels like a limousine, with a separate rear
passenger compartment, retractable wide screen TV, mood lighting, and space to install a fridge
and entertainment system. – [Woman] Number six. – [Seb] Going from the
worlds most expensive SUV, to the worlds first super SUV, or as Lamborghini sell it, a super sports car sole, and
the functionality typical for an SUV. The Urus manages to be both aerodynamic and also large, strong, and solid, and needs to be driven to be believed. On the tarmac, driving
is smooth and elegant, but take it off road, and it’s an untameable beast. Enjoy your own super
SUV for around $200,000. – [Woman] Number five. – [Seb] The Vantage series has
been around for a while now, but so has the Mona Lisa, and both are beautiful works of art that people can never
seem to get bored of. The 2019 Vantage, is the latest example of Aston Martin’s schooling
every other engineer in design, agile performance,
and dedicated craftsmanship. A high powered four liter,
twin-turbo charged V8 gives this Aston Martin
it’s trademark roar, and it remains the pinnacle mid-way between elegant road performance and luxurious sports appeal. Prices vary around $150,000 each. – [Woman] Number four. – [Seb] Number four and
we have the Rimac C2, which manages to be both
old and new all at once. The latest model shows off
Rimac’s traditional sleek style, while featuring modern
technological upgrades and conveniences including
being entirely electric. Lightweight forged alloy wheels channel cool air into the
carbon ceramic braking system, and ensure smooth air flow
down the sides of the car. And the Bespoke tires were developed in conjunction with Pirelli, optimizing their impact and duration. $2.1 million might feel
steep in the car showroom, but it’ll be worth it when
you accelerate from 0-60 in 1.85 seconds, and reach
top speeds of 258 mph. – [Woman] Number three. – [Seb] The Rescue by Ghe-O Motors is such an effective all weather, all-terrain transportation,
medical support, and fire extinguishing vehicle, that it actually rivals most
off-road sports vehicles for performance, even
with 11 people on board. The Rescue weighs about 3.2 tons and comes with a wide range of accessories depending on how you intend to use it. From firefighting to clearing
snow-clogged highways. There’s even a military version with an electromagnetic and
water protection system. Prices start from around $97,000 before customization options. – [Woman] Number two. – [Seb] Next year is the
Nissan GT’s 50th birthday and Nissan has teamed up with Italdesign to produce a car worthy of
this momentous celebration. Despite the hefty price
tag of $1.2 million, in terms of price to performance, the GT-R 50 is one of the most
efficient cars on the market, and is perfect for any enthusiast
who wants to show it off. The GT-R 50 has all-wheel drive, a powerful turbo-charged V6 engine, and a quick shifting,
six-speed automatic transition. Closing in on 200 mph as it’s top speed. Onlookers will hear it roaring
600 horsepower V6 erupt, and know why it’s engine
is endearingly referred to as Godzilla. – [Woman] Number one. – [Seb] And in the number one spot, the Azaris advanced off road vehicle. On first glance you’re probably thinking, well of course, this is just
a prototype at the moment, but they’re building it to navigate Mars. Well, you wouldn’t be that far off. Ferox’s six-wheeled four-wheel
drive, 100 horsepower ATV uses a similar rocker style suspension as the one in the Mars Rover. Coupled with it’s
hydraulic, anti-corrosion, anti-freeze and lubrication systems the Azaris is not so much an ATV, but a work of engineering magic. Company CEO, Troy Wheeler,
claims it can push to 1500 PSI in high load situations, and achieve torques of 678
N.m per motorized wheel. Evidently this vehicle
is built to navigate the harsh terrain of Mars so we doubt it will have
any problems on Earth, and may redefine the expectations
of ATV’s in the future. And that’s our list of 15 insane vehicles that will either succeed or fail in 2019. 1. Hey guys! Glad you all enjoyed the video! πŸ™‚ When reading out around 2000 words in a professional voice over style, sometimes you get the odd typo/mistake. Of course I meant transmission instead of transition, but let's not make a big deal of it ay πŸ˜‚ you all knew what I meant after all!

  2. We have serious social issues when an individual can afford over 3 million dollars for a vehicle.

  3. The Nissan GTR was said to have a turbocharged V6 engine….that’s kinda right, but you’re not giving it all the glory it deserves…it has a Bi-Turbocharged engine!

  4. Some really nice vehicles with prices you would expect and some that sound way over reasonable. The Nissan though? Its basically a GTR designed by another company. Isn't it Italdesign?

  5. No electric car is zero emissions. The energy comes from somewhere and that's the emissions. Radiation from fukashima has irradiated nearly the entire pacific ocean 50 times the safe limit or more. That's the emissions from electric cars. We were better off with clean burning coal plants

  6. 6 wheelers are always cool. So are tracked vehicles, hover craft, and walking vehicles.

Can you find enough material to create a list for walking machines, vehicles, robots used for personal enjoyment, industrial operations, rescue, etc?

  7. Are we going to ignore the fact that some of these are already released and they ain't going to be released in 2019 because they already exist

  8. Can I get #7, with ARMOUR PLATING, and BALLISTIC GLASS?
Is #4, going to be an ACTUAL PRODUCTION VEHICLE, or is it just a 'TEASE'?

  9. 0:50 more wheels, more power and twin turbos… gtfo.. im already done lol 6:30 fuq me, 6 speed transition… lmfao XD 9:55 another quick shifting automatic 6 speed transition? cmon get a grip dude

  10. The only good thing about this video is that the thumbnail is not clickbait. It's even at the number 1 spot. But still. Eh.

  11. A 6×6 for your social status symbol? Wow. You can have one custum built for a fraction of that price! That's just stupid. I like that Austin though. Too bad they don't have a reputation for reliability. That's a bit of cash for a car that will probably spend a lot of time getting to the the shop and back. Probably increasing your "wtf" language skills at the same time.πŸ€‘

  12. 1 through 6 all πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½very useable in day and fun lifestyle activities πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

  13. Dakar rally trucks Baja runners w/upgrades for different planetary environment s should be good enough what with our mess/test on earth***!!??!

  14. All of the 6 wheeled vehicles make zero sense and is absolutely pointless. Whoever thought that they would be good, will find out very quickly why no one else has produced them.

  15. I still like the Ford the best. That's got red neck wrote all over it. ( Here baby hold my beer, we're going to take a short cut and cut that deer off. ) Of course the Wrangler gladiator didn't look too bad. Hope that was right. Hell I still got that big ole monster Ford in my eye. πŸ˜¨πŸ˜±πŸ˜³πŸ˜€πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸΊπŸ₯€πŸ₯€

  16. Cars are dangerous and venerable to police stops abuse and taking and cost a life time of investment and abuse by repair staff ! Good for corporations but a disaster for individuals and the poor ! Bikes are a better ownership hope ! Or flying cars ufos!

  17. Civil forfeiture you buy it the cops stop you plant drugs and take it ! And you can't win in court ! No point in buy expensive stuff the police and government are thieves and the judiciary gets a cut from robbing you !

  18. plus 49 degrees and minus 40 something… so basically the same as most cars lol alot of countries hit that temp

  19. 11:00 If you actually believe that the Mars rover is real – I have a bag of moon rocks I can sell you.

  20. I like the videos you make…. curiouse though that you appear to have an issue saying the m in transMission… you keep say transition instead…. Just find it odd…

  21. 1.2 million for a Nissan? smh… For the money, Aston Martin offers the best value here, and imo, best design on the list. Simply stunning!

  22. 1.2 million for a Nissan? smh… For the money, Aston Martin offers the best value here, and imo, best design on the list. Simply stunning!

  23. I’d like to know what I’m getting (aside from 2 more wheels and additional cargo space) for paying over 200k beyond what a very well-equipped 4-wheeled raptor with the same horsepower and passenger space with less weight!

I can buy 3 possibly more off-road-capable Gheo Rescue vehicles with money to spare and more passenger room for that price!

  24. why are these companies still producing vehicles with 130year old technology – yes! the combustion engine – i don't know where you can drive at over 200mph
